Children’s Church is held during worship for 1st-5th grades to learn about God’s Word and how it applies to our lives. Preschoolers learn about growing with God in Kid’s Time. In our nursery, babies are loved. All children’s workers have background checks and observe the requirements of the church’s Child Protective Policy. For more information, contact Ellen Combs, Children’s Elder.

Youth meetings for Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) students provide opportunities to learn about Jesus Christ and grow in faith through fellowship and service. For more information, contact Susan Dodd, Youth Elder.

Adult Discipleship opportunities are available Sunday mornings and midweek. There is a Men’s Bible Study on Thursday mornings at 8:00 am at the Ministry Center. A Women’s Bible Study meets on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am.  There are also several adult Bible study groups at several different days and times of the week, and in a variety of locations. Come join us!

“Go and make disciples!” (Matthew 28:19-20) This command of Christ is our first priority as followers of Christ. We seek to engage in thoughtful sustainable missions that involve caring for people, and sharing the transforming message of the gospel. Local projects include Women in Ministry’s Back to School Backpacks and Christmas Pajamas and Hoodies for the children at City Light Home for Women and Children here in Boise. And we are participating in the support of full-time missionaries in other parts of the world, as well as short term mission trips to Guatemala in 2015 and 2017. For more information, contact David Schafer, Missions Elder.

Pastor, Elders & Deacons

Our ministries are led and shepherded by our pastor and elders. Our Board of Deacons provides a ministry of care and compassion for those in need, as well as assistance for the weekly worship service.

For details on events relating to these ministry areas, please see the Calendar.
