Sophia recently moved to the Boise area from Fresno, CA, where she had the joy of serving as the High School Youth Minister at the EPC church in town where she grew up in faith. She is a graduate of Jessup University where she earned her degree in Christian Leadership with a minor in Bible and Theology. She loves the laughs, deep life-changing conversations, and discovery of church community that God brings through Youth and Children’s Ministry. She has enjoyed a taste of home here at Christ Presbyterian and is excited to equip our congregation in ministering to our growing next generation! In her free time, she enjoys hanging at coffee shops, learning new crafts and recipes, gardening, and trying her very best to learn how to fish.

Pastor Douglas has been serving at Christ Presbyterian Church since February of 2022. He is a graduate of Dallas Seminary and Trinity Anglican Seminary. Pastor Douglas has been married to his wife Sara for twelve years and has two children – Zoe (6) and Ezra (3). He loves pastoring Christ Presbyterian Church. It’s been a joy for him to discover the church’s affection for the advancement of the gospel and the advancement of Christ’s mission in the Treasure Valley and throughout the world. In his spare time, he loves to fly fish, hike, and spend time playing Nintendo Switch with his family.
